The Evolution of Rail Ryder

After years of using motorsports trailers himself, Dale had grown tired of the typical frustrations that occur while attempting to load a sport or exotic car trailer. The loading angles were too steep, the ramp could move or falter, and crawling out the driver’s side window after the car was inside the trailer was both a danger and a hassle. By combining his extensive professional background in the manufacturing industry with his passion for the automotive world, Dale began to develop a product that would revolutionize the trailer loading process for even the most unique and difficult vehicles and their drivers.

Dale officially founded Rail Ryder in 2009 when he designed and manufactured the company’s first automatic trailer loading system out of his garage. Rail Ryder has grown quickly and has even developed into its very own manufacturing shop in northwestern Pennsylvania, just outside the City of Erie. The enclosed trailer tie down system uses an unbeatably low 4 degree loading angle compared to the average 13 degree angle provided by most trailers. This summer of 2017, we will be on the road again.  In the past few years we have showcased Rail Ryder at approximately 6 shows per year.  This year we have already been to the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale in January and the Detroit Autorama in February.  We truly enjoy sharing our trailer rail system with thousands of people who never knew this one-of-a-kind self  loading trailer system existed.

In mid-June, we will be returning to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Formula One garage area for Bloomington Gold, the longest running all Corvette show in the country.

In early August, we will be heading back to the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY for the NSRA Street Rod Nationals where we won best new product of the year in 2012.  In late August, we will head to Carlisle, PA for Corvettes at Carlisle, the largest Corvette event in the world.
